I LOVE starting kids earlier on subjects that they are expected to only do in high school. Then, when they are older and need to take it in high school, they will not fear it so much because they will already be familiar with many of the ideas. You can begin as early as 5 years-old, but older kids would enjoy it as well. The Periodic Table of Elements Coloring Book is designed to introduce younger kids to chemistry instead of waiting until they are older to begin teaching it to them.
